Some of the sites and folks nice enough to show my art, fellow artisans I respect and admire,
and websites I think are just too spiffy not to mention.

Other places to find HeatherWind artwork online (Thank you all very much!)
DeviantArt:
One of the largest online gatherings of international artists, and a place I
am proud to call myself a member of. Often I'll post sketches and journal entries
there, so be sure to visit me.
The Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists (ASFA):
The ASFA is a non-profit, educational association of amateur and professional artists,
directors, publishers, collectors and those with a love of the genre. Home of the prestigious
Chesley Awards!
The Illuminator's Guildhouse of Roleplaying Character Artists:
Originally founded in 2000 and just recently revived (better than ever!) The Guildhouse is a
terrific one-stop shopping source for folks scouting for custom-made RPG character portraits.
I am proud to be one of the founding members of this wonderful site, and highly recommend it to
any artist who'd like to illustrate RPG portraits themselves.
Epilogue:
An rapidly expanding global community of artists, writers and musicians, featuring work by some
of the best-and-brightest on the net today, amateur or professional. The community grows daily,
and it's well worth a visit. My own member gallery is here.
The Garden:
An artists directory featuring the galleries of many fellow artists from DeviantArt, Elfwood and Epilogue.
Elfwood:
An amazing collection of thousands of amateur and professional artists from around the world. Some of my earlier works
are in
Gallery 563.

Folks I've done work for that I adore so much I just had to add them here. :)
Tri-Tac Games:
Founded and operated by my dear friend and game creator Richard Tucholka, Tri-Tac Games is
home to Bureau 13: Stalking the Night Fantastic, Fringeworthy, FTL:2448, among many others.
Richard's creations helped inspire the very funny Bureau 13 novel series by
Nick Pollota, which can be purchased online through
Wildside Press.
The Neon Lites:
A writer's collaboration fronted by my soul sister Leisa Clark. (Hi Leis! :)
The Neon Lites: Adventures Beyond Possibility is an insane web chronicle of
hapless sisters Tasha and Mollie, as they cross time and space in a Quest for the Limitless
Credit Card. Words cannot begin to cover the chaos that is Neon Lites - it's best just to
see for yourself. Along the way, you may even find my alter ego's extremely brief cameo
appearance in a later chapter!

Fellow artisans who for many reasons deserve mention and a visit.
Stephanie Pui-Mun Law ( Shadowscapes ):
An editor and fellow member at Epilogue Galleries, as well as owner of
Shadowscapes, Stephanie has
been a tremendous inspiration during times when I was quite ready to pack up shop. Not only is
this lovely lady an incredibly talented artist and programmer, she's also an extremely sweet
person with seemingly infinite patience for this frustrated fellow pixel-pusher's questions about
coding. Much of the new site structure I've created here was a result of her very generous advice,
and it is deeply appreciated. (Thanks for everything Steph! :)
Jack Henslee:
A very gracious and gifted artist who celebrates the female form through his amazing portraits.
His site specializes in beautifully rendered erotic art, so if you're under 18 or just easily
offended by nudity, please be advised.
John E. Shannon:
Another fellow Epilogue member, dear friend and amazing digital artist residing in Malta.
His artwork has a glorious medieval tapestry feel, and I still can't get over his fantastic
foliage! Beautiful and ethereal, and well worth a visit!
Cari Buziak ( Aon Celtic Art ):
Another extremely sweet Lady, Cari has been a huge inspiration when it comes to putting my Celtic
art online. I'd been drawing Celtic designs for a few years, but never seriously considered
adding them to my general portfolio until seeing Cari's beautiful gallery. She showed me there
are other artists out there who take it seriously as a modern artform as well, and her pieces
are truly inspired. Her website features some glorious artwork, as well as offering terrific
tutorials.
Amy Brown ( Amy Brown Fantasy Art ):
The poor woman and fellow Washingtonian who had the misfortune of sharing a namesake with me!
Seriously, Amy is a very talented watercolor artist who specializes in Faery-themed fantasy
art with a beautiful Art Nouveau touch, who thankfully has a great sense of humor too!
Since folks frequently confuse our websites, and because I also respect her as an artist, it
seemed only right I include her here. Visit her at
www.amybrownart.com to view her
amazing collection of Faery art.
Igino: The things this man can do with oil paint
is almost obscene. I'm not only impressed by his incredible skill as an artist, but he's cool
enough to be recognized by one name alone. Can't get much better than that. :)
Elfquest.Net: I've been teased about this,
but my hubby and I are both INSANE Elfquest fans, and have been for years. Wendy Pini's artwork
has been a huge inspiration to me as a fantasy artist - especially when it comes to dynamic body
language and facial expressions. Not to mention my strange addiction to elves, and wolves, and
I have always been on the short side...hey wait a minute...
Tony DiTerlizzi: Speaking of dynamic
facial expressions...I also love diTerlizzi's work. Someone my age who also loves bold colors,
bizarre fantasy themes, and has a twisted sense of humor to boot. His art serves as a great
reminder that though you may be getting paid, it doesn't mean you can't have some fun too!
