Resources for Artists (in no specific order) Dick Blick: A HUGE catalog (online and off) of some of the best art supplies and materials on the planet! The Drawing Board for Illustrators: A terrific reference source for practically anything to do with art F.A.R.P. - The Fantasy Art Research Project Compiled by the good folk at Elfwood, this has a wide range of excellent tutorials for artists at all experience levels. Wet Canvas! Cyber Living for Artists: The name says it all. This site is a warehouse of useful links, tutorials and resources. Highly recommended! The Art Deadlines List A monthly email newsletter listing competitions, art shows, scholarships and grants, juried exibitions, internships, writing / photo contests, and much more! Corbis: For those that like to use photo references in artwork, I cannot think of a better place to start than Corbis. This is just an astounding collection of photos and a terrific resource. The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund (CBLDF): Created to help defend the First Amendment rights of the comics community - something which also effects artists in other genres as well. None of us are exempt: As award winning artist Wendy Pini noted about this case file, "the hammer can come down on anyone."
