Soul Echo, in the Chronomancy (time magic) category was requested as "a woman
who appears to have been in some kind of altercation. Her face wears a terrible scowl as
her eyes pierce the viewer. She is kneeling on the ground and acting as if pushing a heavy
weight upwards as shadowy winds swirl around her. She is garbed in clothing reminiscent
of America in the late 1700s". Finding the clothing reference was far less of an issue than
finding a good reference for the pose I envisioned. In the end, my solution came through
the assistance of my own digital camera, a very indulgent husband, and simply posing for
it myself. It actually wasn't too difficult to channel that expression, once I'd
discovered that we'd run out of the good coffee...Mrs. Brown is just not a happy camper
without her coffee.
