Red Heron | |
| Like the stork and crane, Heron represents both solar and water aspects, and was once thought to predict the weather. The ancient Egyptians associated it with renewal and the annual return of the floodwaters to the Nile. I see my Red Heron as a symbol of a playful spirit of life and rebirth. | |
